Theses supply
For the session 2008/2009, a number of University of Southampton theses have been submitted electronically and are available to readers from the ePrints repository http://eprints.soton.ac.uk
Theses from the University of Southampton which are not available from ePrints will only be provided on a non-returnable CD-ROM. In 2010, it is envisaged that theses with a copyright clearance will be made available from the University of Southampton Repository, ePrints and from Ethos.
In the period while theses are being supplied on a CD-ROM, each reader must individually fill in and sign a thesis request form.
Readers are then asked to submit the form to the Inter-Library Loans section of their library, who will request the thesis on the readers’ behalf. A searchable PDF of the thesis will be sent on a non-returnable CD-ROM to the reader. A reader may have to wait up to six weeks for supply if the PDF is not currently available.
Please note that if you have requested a University of Southampton thesis via the Ethos website in 2008 and it has not yet been supplied, you will have to resubmit a request to the University of Southampton and fill in a thesis request form.
