Installation of new loans desk at Avenue Library

Work will start on Monday 14 September to install a new Loans Desk in the Avenue Library, and it is anticipated that the installation will take five days.

The Library will remain open for its vacation opening hours (10:00-13:00) during this period. The Loans Desk will be out of action for this period and books will be issued from the office behind the Loans Desk area.

There will be some inevitable disruption to this normally quiet space, but noise levels will be kept to a minimum during the opening hours.

Furthermore, the Avenue Library's usual phone line will be out of action during this period. Whilst the work is in progress, you will be able to contact the library on this alternative number:

  • 023 8059 5432 (calling from off-campus)
  • 25432 (calling from on-campus)
