Technical reports & conferences
We have a significant number of published proceedings of conferences and other technical publications - in either print or online formats. Many of these are indexed by databases like Compendex (see your subject page): searching these can find reports or conferences on your topic. However they can be tricky to locate - the following strategies may help:
Search Webcat:
- A title search for the title of the specific report or conference - often a handful of keywords will be enough (many of these are individually catalogued and shelved with the books)
- A periodical title search for the series of reports or conferences (some series are shelved together often in Reports T*)
Search the Internet (Google Scholar, etc.):
- Some material is freely available online - and may not be catalogued!
