Gale newspaper database

You will find lots of information about news sources on our newspaper resources and news resources pages. However, one of the best places to start searching for information in newspapers is the Gale Newspaper database (previously know as Infotrac).

This indexes several hundred newspapers from around the world, including nearly 200 from the UK - with full text articles included for most titles.

It includes The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent and The Financial Times as well as some of the tabloids such as The Daily Mail. It also includes many local newspapers, including The Evening Standard.
