The National Cipher Challenge

national cipher challengeThe National Cipher Challenge is a code breaking competition, which has been successfully run by the School of Mathematics at the University of Southampton for the past several years. It is a competition in which as many as 700 school teams from all around the country compete to decrypt secret messages that uncover a mystery storyline. Who will be first to decode the latest message?

Meet the Mathematicians

It is an ideal opportunity for year 13 students interested in studying mathematics or a related subject at University level to attend lectures and interactive sessions with leading UK scientists.
