The Psychiatry Prize final event was held for year 3 BM students on Friday 13 June, at Antelope House.

Over the year, each attachment of students is invited to enter the Psychiatry Prize by putting together a presentation on Psychiatry. Overall this year there were four groups of finalists who repeated their presentations to a panel of judges on Friday 13 June, having first presented to their fellow students and a panel of judges, made up from Tutors & Teaching Facilitators, earlier in the year.

The winning group was announced as Isabella Stanley, Amelia Cussans, and Claire Brooke for their presentation ‘Living with ADHD as an Adult’. They were awarded their prize, a share of £600, by Dr Jane Hazelgrove, Director of Education, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Hazelgrove said: "Every student who contributed to today in my mind was a clear winner and the standards of every presentation were exceptional. I was stunned by the range of talent this group of students demonstrated both in content and presentation skills."
