It has been forty years since the first medical school student cohort graduated from the University of Southampton.

 

To celebrate this landmark event, the Faculty of Medicine will be hosting a 'Black-Tie' ball on Saturday 18 February 2017 at the Hilton Hotel at The Ageas Bowl, Southampton. We look forward to welcoming fellow alumni, staff and friends on this prestigious evening.

Booking details 

Please click on the 'Purchase your ticket' button which is located on this webpage. Once you have clicked the button, the University of Southampton's Online Store page will open. On the first page, please locate 'Conference & Events' on the top left hand-side of the page. Hover over this button and Medicine' will appear in the next table.

 

Please click on 'Medicine' and then 'Events' and this will bring you to our ticket page for payment. Click 'Book Event' and follow the online instructions.

Timings 

Pre-dinner drinks: 18:30

 

Dinner: 19:15 - 21:15 including interval and speeches

 

Live entertainment: 21:15- 23:45

Black-tie / evening dresses

 

Entertainment 

Entertainment will be provided on the night by the University's very own 'JamSoc' Jazz band and performances from our medical students 'Medics Revue' and highly-acclaimed Motown band 'Up the Beat'.
