final PROGRAMME now available!
The UK-China Summer School is a joint event organized by the University of Southampton and the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
It will cover main research areas in Tribology and Surface Engineering and focus on nano-structured films/coatings, surface/interface of materials and nano/micro tribology.

The summer school will provide an oppurtunity for young researchers in tribology and surface engineering to learn about research from world leading institutions and provides opportunities for interacting with experts in this field.
Following from last year’s very successful UK-China Summer School at Lanzhou between 29th June – 3rd July 2009, we are pleased to invite you to this international workshop that will be held in Southampton, UK, 23rd-26th August, 2010.
