BBC Democracy Day: Making UK government 'most transparent' in the world
Find out how the University of Southampton is helping to make the UK government the most open and transparent in the world.
BBC's Democracy Day takes place on Tuesday 20 January, across BBC radio, TV and online. It is a look at democracy past and present, encouraging debate on its role and future.

It found that the UK government is the 'most transparent' in the world and central to that ranking was data.gov.uk, created by Southampton Professors Sir Nigel Shadbolt and Sir Tim Berners-Lee.
Find out how Southampton is leading the open data revolution.
