  • (1) Earth’s coupled physical climate and biogeochemical system;
  • (2) The Anthropocene (including surface warming, sea level rise and ocean acidification);

Dr Philip Goodwin is Associate Professor in Earth System Dynamics within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton. His work focusses on the links between the carbon cycle and climate, both over past geological timescales and into the future.
