Ethnicity and Religion

A Colloquium of the Classics Department, University of Reading and the AHRC Parkes Centre’s Greek Bible project.

This short colloquium will explore the conceptualization and language of ethnicity in later Greek writing. The multi-layered handling of ethnic and religious identities in Greek-Jewish texts offers rich material which awaits integration into the wider picture
