V300 MA Jewish History and Culture

Our MA programme offers a rich encounter with the main currents in Jewish history and culture through the ages, drawing on and fostering the use of many different scholarly disciplines.

Reflecting the heritage of James Parkes' scholarship, on which the Parkes Institute is founded, the programme places a unique emphasis on studying Jewish history and culture within the broad framework of Jewish/non-Jewish relations. The programme builds on the world-class resources of the University's Parkes Library and Jewish Archives, and is taught by an outstanding team of interdisciplinary scholars from the Parkes Institute.

The MA in Jewish History and Culture is offered in Southampton on a full-time and part-time basis.

The MA in Jewish History and Culture is offered in London on a part-time basis only, in partnership with JW3.

We offer a range of funding opportunities for graduate students.
