Published: 27 January 2016

We are thrilled to announce the appointments of four new lecturers who will add marvellously to our teaching and research strengths.

Dr. Giulia Felappi joins us from King's College London, where she recently completed her PhD.  Giulia's primary area of research specialisation is the philosophy of language, though she has also published in the philosophy of mind.

Dr. Brian McElwee joins us from Oxford University, where he was a lecturer in St. John's College and also did his PhD.  Brian's primary area of research specialisation is moral philosophy, where he has published seven articles.

Dr. William McNeill joins us from King's College London, where he was most recently a lecturer; William has also lectured at York and Cardiff.  William's primary area of research specialisation is philosophy of mind, in which he has published important papers on perception.

Dr. Naomi Thompson joins us from the University of Birmingham, where she was a lecturer and did her PhD.  Naomi's primary area of research specialisation is metaphysics, and she also has interests in philosophy of language, philosophical logic, and philosophy of religion.

A warm welcome to all four!
