To help make ends meet, some of our students work part-time. We run a Temp Bank, which can find you work across the University – for example, in the Students’ Union, libraries or the University offices.
Earn money around your studies
It’s a great way of making extra money and has been designed to accommodate student timetables.
How it works:
You provide details of your availability and become part of a 'bank' of people available for work at the University
A wide variety of work is available at all times of the day, so you can find something to fit around your existing commitments
Secretarial and clerical work is available if you have proficiency in at least one word-processing package
Other work includes catering, domestic, telephone operations, administration, occasional driving, manual work and working as a porter or campus guide
International students can only work a maximum of 20 hours per week because of visa restrictions.
