The University charges two levels of fee: the lower ‘home’ fee and the higher ‘overseas’ fee.
The amount you will have to pay depends on a number of criteria.
Some categories of student must be charged the ‘home’ fee. The level of fee you will have to pay depends on whether you meet certain criteria.

The University's Admissions Team will decide your fee status on the basis of the relevant fees regulations. When classifying your fees status we are required to do so in accordance with the following regulations:
- The Student Fees (Qualifying Courses and Persons) (England) Regulations 2007
- The Education (Fees and Awards) (England) Regulations 2007
In addition to the information you supply at the time of your application, we may ask you to provide us with additional details about yourself and your family to help us assess you fees status. Should this be necessary we will ask you to complete a Fees Assessment Questionnaire. We would also ask you to provide documents (for example copies of passports, official letters, etc) to support the information you give.
