Our MSc Integrated Environmental Studies programme has been running successfully for over 12 years, providing the interdisciplinary knowledge and skills required for a career in the environmental sector. During this time, the need for environmental managers has grown, and the range of skills they are expected to possess has expanded greatly.
To meet this changing need we have developed the Environmental Management Programme (EMP) for advanced teaching and research in the environmental sector. There is a choice of two streams: taught postgraduate (MSc) or research (MRes), leading to named degrees. In choosing targeted degree outcomes, we have consulted with end users to identify their needs, then matched these to the University’s expertise and centres of excellence.
