The programme is a recognised teaching qualification for graduates who are teaching and/or training, on a full or part time basis, in further education, or in public or private sector organisations.

Overview

It is a valuable professional development programme for all adult trainers, those working in adult and community education, the health services, social services, armed forces, police and emergency services and youth work. You will develop skills in planning, delivering and assessing learning activities, combined with the understanding of the learning process and background to post-compulsory education and training.

To Apply

Applications should be made directly to your local participating Centre and your place will be confirmed by the University of Southampton. You should be aware that, as a professional course, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a minimum of 150 hours teaching over the two years of the programme.
