The MPhil focuses on the design and execution of an original research project, which occupies about two-thirds of the year, with correspondingly less time devoted to formal teaching.

The MSc combines advanced lecture modules in your area of specialisation with safety and professional skills modules and a period of individual research. Our MSc Chemistry by Research offers specialisation in chemical biology, electrochemistry, interfaces and materials, or synthesis and catalysis.
