You will follow an individual research programme in one of the areas covered by our research themes. This will include a Graduate School induction programme, with transferable skills training, dedicated field and/or laboratory training, attendance at the Annual Graduate School Conference, and funding support for attendance at UK and international subject-specific conferences.

Entry requirements: Upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in geography or a related subject; or a master’s degree in an appropriate subject
Assessment: Thesis and viva voce
Duration: 2–3 years (full-time); up to 6 years (part-time)
