Research interests

My research interests are in experimental psychopathology and primarily focus on cognitive processes in aversive motivational states, in particular, anxiety. My work includes the evaluation of cognitive theories of anxiety and the investigation of cognitive mechanisms that may underlie vulnerability to emotional disorders. This work largely uses methods derived from experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience to investigate cognitive biases for emotional information.
