Life Sciences Interface Forum
Provides a mechanism to develop a co-ordinated portfolio of research programmes. Fosters cross-disciplinary dialogue within the University, nurturing distinctive and world-leading research programmes.
Southampton Neuroscience Group (SoNG)
Develops and implements a research strategy that supports the complementary aims and activities of Neuroscientists across the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences.

The Southampton Nano Forum fosters research in NanoScience and NanoTechnology, providing investment and discussion across a wide range of disciplines.
national Centre for Advanced Tribology, Southampton (nCATS)
Multi-disciplinary centre, linking world class research groups of 6 Schools within the University to develop enhanced capabilities in advanced computational and experimental Tribology.

Environment

Environment
Fosters cross disciplinary research into environmental issues, with emphasis on two major themes: Health and the Environment, and Energy and the Environment.
