Environmental and Spatial Statistics: Alan Gelfand (Duke, USA)
An S3RI international research workshop
S3RI runs the following types of events:
- Seminars: regular seminar series on a wide range of statistical topics including demography, methodology, experiment design and biostatistics.
- Training Courses: structured tuition in the fields of Social Sciences and Statistics, for professional development or as part of a postgraduate programme. Bespoke training courses are also available.
- Special Seminars: seminars that are accessible to a wide audience; given once each semester by an eminent person from academia or the profession who has made major contributions to the Statistical Sciences.
- Workshops: research meetings, often collaborative, interactive and international, focussed on a specific subject area.
- Conferences: longer meetings, typically over three days, with a large number of participants on a central theme often with parallel sessions and a related short course.
