Research on nonresponse



 

A major, and increasing, problem in surveys is that individuals, households, schools or companies selected for questioning may fail to take part. Such nonresponse can lead to reduced data quality and, where those who do respond are not a representative sample, the risk that biased and misleading conclusions may be drawn.

S3RI research on nonresponse includes the following projects:
