Virtual Services

Student Resources Network

The Student Resources Network (SRN) is your gateway to all the help and support you need as a student at the University of Southampton.  The physical and virtual services or information provided by our Schools or Professional Services is only a click or a call away. It consists of physical services and locations such as the Student Services Centre and the Library Learning Centre as well as the SRN online website.

Simply select the ‘Resources’ tab, click onto any of the sections in the ‘Main Menu’ channel to enter the website or follow recommendations for relevant information (e.g. exam timetables links). If you have made an enquiry at the Student Services Centre, you can track its progress in this area. The site includes links to the most popular online resources in the ‘Quick Links’ channel to help you access help and support quickly and easily.

You can access SRN  from the SUSSED portal - simply select the Resources tab to find all the help you need. Wherever you see the Student Resources Network colours you’ll know advice and information for Southampton students is close at hand at:

www.sussed.soton.ac.uk

We provide an online service to give you access to downloadable forms, personal information and to keep track of your financial transactions.  Sussed portal screenshot

These all help you get the service you need as quickly as possible at a time that is right for you. You can use the terminals in the Centre or you can log on anywhere through the SUSSED portal.

The Resources tab in the SUSSED portal connects you to a network of resources designed to help you find whatever you need to maximise your University experience.

The Student Services DVD streamed online is another way to see the services available to you.  Just look for the Student Resources Network colours around the University and you’ll know there’s  help at hand designed specifically for you – as one of our University of Southampton students.
