If your students are in years 9-11 then you may like to consider booking a 'Why HE' Day.
Our ‘Why HE?’ days are designed to provide students in Years 9-11 with an exciting experience of university, while raising their awareness of the choices, courses and pathways associated with progression to Higher Education. The ‘Why HE?’ days take place across the spring and summer terms. The days include; interactive workshops on university courses and pathways, a campus tour and a STEM-themed taster session. Each ‘Why HE’ day can accommodate 60 students and places are capped at 20 student places per school. The content is aimed at your most able students, so please take this into consideration when selecting students to attend.
The ‘Why HE?’ days form a part of the university’s widening participation programmes, and as such not all schools will be eligible to participate. Please select the widening participation indicators relevant to your school from the list below when making your booking – your school should have access to this information.
Our next 'Why HE?' days will be held on 5 and 12 July 2017.
