MEng Aeronautics & Astronautics / Aerodynamics
On this programme you will learn about the design and integration of wings and propulsion systems for aerospace. You will gain an appreciation of the capabilities and limitations of current prediction techniques and you will have the opportunity to study a module dedicated to race car aerodynamics. This programe provides excellent preparation for aerodynamics research.
The first two years of the course are identical to the BEng and MEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics (H422, H401). In years three and four, you will study specialist modules such as Aerospace computational fluid dynamics, Aerospace design, Applied aerodynamics, Structural design, Wing aerodynamics, Compressible flow, Flow control, Hypersonic & high temperature gas dynamics, Turbulence: physics and measurement, Turbulence: computation & modelling and Management.
For full details of the programme and modules available please view our Current Student pages.
