MEng Aeronautics & Astronautics / Advanced Materials
This programme provides an excellent grounding in both aerospace engineering and materials engineering. The specialist modules in Years 3 and 4 reflect the international excellence of the University's research in engineering materials and our strong industrial research links.
The first two years of the course are identical to the BEng and MEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics (H422, H401).
The programme's underlying theme is the assessment and improvement of materials performance in a wide range of structures and devices, with applications to airframes, aeroengines and aerospace systems. The programme also coves broader issues such as renewable energy, the life sciences interface, automotive applications, nanomaterials and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS).
For full details of the programme and modules available please view our Current Student pages.
