Leadership development

The University recognises the value of good leadership and that well-led organisations tend to be more productive, competitive and responsive to change. We know that staff benefit from having a greater idea of where they are heading and why, and are therefore more engaged and motivated.

We are also committed to develop our own leaders, helping us to achieve a bright and sustainable future for Southampton.

The University is currently implementing a leadership development programme for Southampton’s senior staff and everyone has access to training and development opportunities provided by Professional Development.
