Assessment and rehabilitation

Neuropsychologists use their knowledge of the relationship between the brain and neuropsychological function as a basis for investigation into the cognitive functioning of patients with suspected or established brain damage. They also carry out assessments and rehabilitation to help in diagnosis and to advise on coping in everyday situations. Furthermore, Neuropsychologists may also be called on to provide reports for courts or insurers regarding issues such as loss of capacity or function.
