Biography

Ben was  formerly a teaching fellow at the London School of Economics where he taught courses on the international political economy of development, empire to globalisation and the history, theory and policy of development. He wrote his PhD on globalisation, commodity chains and development (based on fieldwork in North East Brazil) at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London.

Research interests

Globalisation and development, Global Commodity Chains, Labour in the International Political Economy, Economic development in Brazil.
