Jubilee Sport and Recreation Centre is where you’ll find many of our facilities and classes. Its convenient location on Highfield Campus offers easy access for staff, students and members of the public.
Facilities include:
- a 6 lane, 25 metre swimming pool
- a split level, 150 station fitness suite
- 2 sports halls, one with 8 multi-use courts and one with 4 multi-use courts
- 4 squash courts
- a martial arts studio
- an indoor cycling studio
- a bouldering wall
A major £34 million upgrade and extension to the Jubilee Sport and Recreation Centre is due to complete in summer 2024. Facilities will include:
- a large new gym with over 200 exercise stations
- 5 new fitness studios
- 3 new squash courts
- a climbing and bouldering wall
- a dedicated indoor cycling space
