The science being driven by structural biology team and the supporting facilities create a wealth of opportunity when it comes to communicating science to the community.
We're involved in a variety of outreach events from the National Science and Engineering Week event for which Southampton is regularly praised to events for local primary school children and alumni tours for returning graduates keen to see what their old department is up to now.
Students and staff from structural biology always make an appearance for the university open days, sharing their work and achievements with prospective students and interested parents.
