Fees Classification

The University charges two levels of fee: the lower ‘UK (home)’ fee and the higher ‘International (overseas)’ fee.

The amount you will have to pay depends on a number of criteria.

Some categories of student must be charged the ‘UK (home)’ fee. The level of fee you will have to pay depends on whether you meet certain criteria.

Details of these criteria and guidance can be obtained from UKCISA: The UK Council for International Student Affairs. UKCISA provides advice and information to international students studying in the UK and to staff who work with them. Information and advice to students is free. For more information please visit www.ukcisa.org.uk.

The University's Admissions Team will decide your fee status on the basis of the relevant fees regulations.

In addition to the information you supply at the time of your application, we may ask you to provide us with additional details about yourself and your family to help us assess your fee status. Should this be necessary we will ask you to complete a Fee Status Questionnaire.
