Student Services
Student Services offers facilities and support to students across all the campuses. The Student Services Centre is located on University Road on the Highfield Campus. We have a virtual tour and DisabledGo access details if you are planning to visit.
There is additional provision for students across the other campuses and a comprehensive online service.

This is part of Student Advice and Guidance. Our award winning Student Services Centre opened its doors in 2005 as a one stop shop for student enquiries. The Student Advisory Team deal with enquiries face-to-face, by telephone, email or online or refer them to the specialist teams working in the Centre. These include Accommodation Service, ID Card Service, Financial Information and Assistance team (dealing with bursaries, access to learning funds and studentships) and Student Resources Online (log in to Sussed and click the Resources tab).
A new service for 2009 is the Visa Guidance Team. There are procedures to be followed relating to your visa which are required by the UK Border Agency. This website briefly explains these procedures.
Is also part of Student Advice and Guidance and works with employers and university staff to deliver a wide range of activities which enhance the employability and career management skills of current students and recent graduates. Staff work in partnership with Schools and Professional Services to enhance the student experience at Southampton University.
Education Support provides a range of services to students with specific short or long-term needs. It provides a safety net through its Enabling Service, Dyslexia Services, and Needs Assessment Centre.
Part of the Wellbeing section along with the Nursery and Support Services the Sport and Recreation (SportRec) team is delighted to welcome you to the University of Southampton (UoS) where you can enjoy a wide-ranging programme of sport and recreational activities throughout the year.
The Nursery has been established for almost 30 years caring for children aged 4 months to 5 Years. We offer service and facilities to care for 108 children per session in a safe and happy environment.
Student Resources Network (SRN)
Our partnership work has led to the development of the Student Resources Network (SRN). It is a gateway to all the help and support needed as a student at the University of Southampton. The physical and virtual provision of services and information is only a click or a call away. Just look for the Student Resources Network colours around the University and you’ll know there’s useful information or help at hand designed specifically for you.
