In addition to our scholarship programme, we have a range of bursaries designed to help UK undergraduates in the most financial need. You may be eligible if you fulfil the following criteria:

Many students don't realise that they are eligible for a bursary - always check.
- your household income is £25,000 or less per year, in which case you are eligible for a bursary of £1,250 for every year of study to which the £3,375 tuition fee (2011/12) applies
- your household income is between £25,001 and £40,000, in which case you are eligible for a bursary of £625 for every year of study to which the £3,375 tuition fee (2011/12) applies
- PGCE students who are able to access a bursary are entitled to a reduced award of £329.
The household income information you supply on your PN1 form is shared with us by Student Finance England. Please ensure that you or your parents provide the financial information requested in section 11. Please do not tick the consent opt out boxes in section 10 and section 12.
The bursaries are paid in January.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Bursary
We offer up to 120 bursaries of £1,000 each year to students attending FE Colleges or school sixth forms in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and/or students living in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We allocate these bursaries on a competitive basis and you will have to meet certain criteria.

School of Medicine bursaries
The School of Medicine awards 30 maintenance bursaries of £1,000 per year to Students on the Bachelor of Medicine 6 year programme (BM6), which is aimed at widening access to medicine.
