Something to smile about: pay your fees early and you will receive a 1% discount.
Key points:

1% discount on personal element of tuition fees if the University receives full payment by 5th October 2009 (certain conditions apply)

Payments are accepted online, by cheque (payable to University of Southampton), bank draft, debit or credit card or by cash

If fees are not paid in full, they may be paid in 2 instalments on 5th October 2009 and 4th January 2010

UK/EU full time undergraduate students should be able to take a tuition fee loan to defer payment of fees until after graduation

If you are unsure of how to pay your fees please contact the Student Services Centre (SSC) on ssc@soton.ac.uk.
Where fees (or portion of fees) are paid by other sources.
If you have funding from other sources e.g. Research Council, employer, foreign Embassy/Government etc, you must provide the University with a copy of your official letter of sponsorship. You should carefully check your sponsor details when you enrol. If any details are incorrect, you should complete the fees office sponsorship notification form SP1. The SP1 form should be returned by 6 October 2009.
Fees paid by Research Councils, SLC and the NHS are paid in accordance with government guidelines. All other sponsors will receive an invoice. If you are a sponsored student, you should log into www.webpayments.soton.ac.uk on a regular basis to track payments and view charges assigned to sponsors.
