You should attend an open day at all your chosen universities before submitting your UCAS application. Applicants to Southampton are then generally invited to attend an interview or a departmental Visit Day. This will enable you to see the Faculty in greater detail.

The University holds some subject-specific Open Days which provide you with an opportunity to visit a particular Academic Unit before completing your UCAS form.
