Through Gift Aid the University is able to increase the size of your gift significantly meaning that your gift will go even further to provide great resources for our students - now and in the future.
With the added benefits of Gift Aid, for every £1 you give the University will receive an extra 25p.
Therefore a gift of £10 will actually result in a gift of £12.50 with the added donation going to benefit the University at no extra cost to you.
Not sure if you can Gift Aid your donation?
If you are a UK taxpayer, under the Gift Aid Scheme, we can reclaim the tax you have already paid on your gift, and any future gifts you may make if you have paid an amount of tax that is at least equal to the tax that we will reclaim from your gift. For example: a gift of £20 would result in an additional £5 towards your gift through Gift Aid. As long as you have paid £5 in tax in the current tax year, you may Gift Aid your donation. You can also find out more on Gift Aid here.
The gift calculator and the links below will help guide you through how the University and our donors may benefit from making a donation. If you are a higher rate UK tax payer, you may also be able to claim back the tax on your donation. More information on how you can benefit from this can be found on our Tax Effective Giving webpage.
