Find out what life at the University of Southampton is really like, from four very different students.
Living in halls is one of the best ways to meet new people. Many of our graduates say that halls was where they met their life-long friends. When you move into halls at the beginning of your degree, you are all in the same position, often moving away from home for the first time, ready to step into your new world and become part of our vibrant student community. You can socialise with your friends in the communal common rooms, cook some summer food on our new ready-made BBQs (without having to trek to the shop for a disposable), go to town for free with your unilink bus pass, or workout in one of the many gyms.
All of our halls here at Southampton provide a safe environment with 24-hour support from our Residences Support Service as well as staff onsite all through the night.
