Exchange Scholars 2014/15

For the academic year 2014/15, 26 students were successful in making applications to University-wide exchange partners and were invited to be part of the Exchange Scholars Programme. All students come from a diverse range of academic backgrounds and were all nominated based on their excellent academic standing and their motivation to take on a student ambassador role as part of their exchange.

Out of the 26 students, 21 will be participating in a full semester or year-long exchange at one of our University-wide partners: The University of Western Australia, the University of Adelaide, the University of Sydney, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

A further 5 students were also given contributions towards attending the Chinese University of Hong Kong's International Summer School.

During their time studying abroad, all of our students will be writing blogs about their experience both in and out of the classroom. They will also be participating in student ambassador activities to represent the University of Southampton and contribute to their local community in their adoptive home.
