WSA professor produces radio art for The Lake Radio in Copenhagen

Published: 12 January 2017

WSA Professor Jussi Parikka, Professor in Technological Culture & Aesthetics, was commissioned to create a new piece of radio art as part of the new Works for Radio-project. The Lake Radio in Copenhagen asked eight Nordic artists and writers to participate in the new round of sound art. Parikka’s contribution is a spoken theory piece On Lunacy, which includes references both to history of radio and signal transmission and to current events such as the rise of the xenophobic nationalism in Britain, Europe and the US. Parikka is participating in the launch of the new radio works in Copenhagen on 14 January 2017.

The launch event can be heard live on The Lake Radio Website.
