Level 2 fashion marketing/management students exhibited their work at The Winchester Gallery this week.

The showcase was called 'We are!' and was a collaboration with the URBN GROUP whose retail brands include URBAN OUTFITTERS, ANTHROPOLOGIE and FREE PEOPLE.  The exhibition showed the role of trend forecasting in the fashion industry and its impact on brand communication and the development of retail product concepts. With research dominating the student's work, attendees were able to see creative mood boards, styled imagery, academic reports as well as brand films and documentary style interviews with about the processes involved.

On Wednesday the Level 2 FMM team, Linda Mackie & Anna Pegg, along with students and Laura from Career Services welcomed the Talent Recruiters from the Head Office of URBN to present and talk with students on their work.

Students were exploring their future career paths and discussing their work with the visitors.

The visitors from the URBN Group were Kate and Zoe. The latter reported back, 'Myself and Kate had a great day and thought the students work and eagerness for the brand was super impressive! It was great to see how eager the students were, and we saw some great talent!'
