Our students are carrying out research in a wide range of fields related to Web Science, including archiving, geospatial data, hypertext, health technologies, information dissemination, legislation, MOOCs, scholarly communication, semantic web and social media.

My research interests are in investigating the sociological behaviours that are developed online through technological processes.

My PhD examines the role of social media in UK emergency management, specifically, how emergency responders integrate social media into practice and their attitudes towards it.
