We are delighted to have received a £2,500 gift from The Patron’s Fund, a charitable fund set up to acknowledge and support the work of charitable organisations across the UK and the Commonwealth for which Her Majesty The Queen acts as a Patron.

The Patron’s Fund, made up of donations from a range of supporters, including individuals, businesses, schools and community groups as well as proceeds from The Patron’s Lunch event on The Mall, distributes around £750,000 to nearly 300 charities and other organisations across the UK and the Commonwealth.

This generous donation is a valuable addition to our fundraising campaign, which has now crossed the £20m mark, with over 80 per cent of the £25m target now raised.

The Patron’s Fund is very pleased to be able to support the University of Southampton’s campaign for the Centre for Cancer Immunology with its valuable work.

Sir Stuart Etherington, Chair of The Board of Trustees for The Patron’s Fund
