A huge thank you to everyone who ran the ABP Southampton Marathon, Half or 10k on 23 April, in aid of the University of Southampton’s campaign for the Centre for Cancer Immunology.

Collectively, our team of over 230 runners, made up of staff, students, alumni and members of the local community have so far raised an amazing £35k, and the total keeps going up!  This is a fantastic achievement and takes us closer to our £25m target and making our life-saving Centre a reality.

One of our runners was Charlotte Moss, who took part in a cancer immunology clinical trial at Southampton to treat her stage 3 melanoma. Now over 5 years’ cancer free, Charlotte ran the 10k and we were so proud to see her cross the finish line.  This is what our research is all about and why your support is vital so more patients can benefit.
