biographical note

Caroline Bergvall (b. 1962) is of French-Norwegian nationalities and has been based in England since 1989.

Her critical and poetic work are increasingly concerned with plurilingual writing and sited textwork. She was the Director of Performance Writing, Dartington College of Arts (1994-2000). She is currently Associate Fellow in Performance Writing at Dartington College.
