biographical note

Born Gibraltar 1950, went to King's College London in 1968, studied under the late Eric Mottram. He now lives in Hastings, East Sussex in 2004 with his wife Elaine. A journalist, he currently works as an editor for the Royal College of Nursing.

Since 1993, he has run the independent press Reality Street Editions, which was formed through amalgamation of his Reality Studios imprint with Wendy Mulford's Street Editions. Wendy is no longer directly involved in running the press, but remains as editorial consultant.
