I am a postgraduate student at the University of Southampton. My research topic involves the multi-wavelength study of accreting compact objects, such as white dwarfs, neutron stars and black holes. In general, I'm interested in transient astronomy in the ultraviolet, optical and infrared. My research is supervised by Prof Christian Knigge.
I was undergraduate at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mechanical Engineering. Afterwards, I did my M.Sc. at the Institute of Astronomy at UNAM where I worked in cataclysmic variables, globular cluster and stellar winds of high mass stars.
I have made a dedicated page for the recent paper on J1433+1011, a brown-dwarf companion to an accreting white dwarf, published in Nature. Check it out!
