Welcome to the website for the University of Southampton Light Opera Society! We are undergoing a complete renovation, so please bear with us.

Our next show is Gilbert and Sullivan's The Sorcerer. A comedic tale of two rich lovers who decide their whole village deserves to experience love, they hire a modern-day sorcerer from London to distribute a love philtre to the denizens. However, things don't go quite as they planned! There's love, betrayal, confusion, and jorums of tea!

You don't have to audition to join our chorus, and we are a very light-hearted society who like to have fun and put on great shows with the minimum of stress. We are rapidly approaching our next performances, so unfortunately it is too late to join us for The Sorcerer - however, there will be opportunities to join us in taking the show to the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival this summer, and also joining us for our shows next university year!
