Outlook

By using periodic boundary conditions, unfortunately not available in the
simulation software, it would be possible to compute a system in three dimensions by making the sample periodic in the $ x$ and $ y$ directions. Parallel execution of the simulation code coupled with a shared memory model would also make the three-dimensional simulation case feasible.

The next steps in following up the presented results would be to further understand the three régimes in $ B_{c(r/R)}$ for two-dimensional systems shown in figure 6.12, in addition to modelling the full three-dimensional system.
